Karen Andersen B.BehavSci, B.Psych(Hons), MForensicMentHlth, AssocMAPS

Karen is a Queensland registered psychologist who has experience providing psychological services in a variety of settings including forensic, educational, community, and private practice. She has experience working with a range of clients including military and law enforcement personnel, children with learning disorders, clients referred for psychiatric management, clinical, personal and workplace related concerns, adolescents, and male forensic populations. Karen has also been involved in the development and delivery of a variety of psycho-educational programs to adults, including anger management, assertiveness training, stress management, social skills training, resilience training, relaxation skills, and self-esteem. She currently offers the Friends, Friends for Life and Model Social Skills programs for primary and secondary school aged children. Karen has been involved in the adaption and norming of a number of psychological assessment instruments for the Australian context.
