At Brisbane Counselling Centre we have registered psychologists who are available to provide counselling via Zoom video link or Phone (Skype by request). The appointments for online or phone counselling sessions work in much the same way as face to face counselling. The appointments are booked ahead of time and are similar to a typical in-person consultation.
These sessions work well for clients who are reside or based in remote locations, are time poor or just prefer the convenience of therapy from the comforts of their own environment. Also note that if you meet the criteria below you may be eligible** to claim the medicare rebate for these appointments.
Many of our psychologists are available for phone and online sessions. Our helpful reception staff can assist in scheduling this with any of our psychologists and providing all the information you will need to connect for your session.
Zoom online meetings are our preferred platform, as it’s easier to use and also provides a more secure and stable data connection. Your privacy and confidentiality in these sessions is very important, which is why we’ve chosen to upgrade to this particular online meeting method.
Zoom is extremely easy to use. Shortly before your appointment time, simply click the meeting link we send you, and it will open in any web browser, or via the zoom app on your smart phone. Then use the unique password we provide to connect to your psychologist.
If you would like any more information about this service or wish to book a online, skype or phone counselling session, please feel free to give us a call on 07 3831 4452 or send us an email to email@example.com
