Gregory Baksic

Registered Counsellor

Gregory is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association and provides a holistic, person-centred approach to therapy.

The goal of his person-centred approach is to empower the client. By guiding and asking meaningful, targeted questions, he gives his clients the space to explore their concerns, feel heard and get to an understanding of root causes.

From this space, Gregory uses several different evidence-based techniques to create pathways to well-being including REBT, ACT, CBT, Regression Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. Techniques aside, Gregory’s main approach and goal when it comes to therapy is to guide clients towards sitting with and understanding the root causes of their concerns as this is, more often than not, where all the answers and healing lies.

Gregory has a particular interest in the following areas:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Traumatic childhood experiences
  • Couples counselling
  • Relationship & family concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Adolescent counselling
  • Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Substance addictions
  • Gambling addictions
  • ADHD coaching
  • Stress management
  • Self-esteem
  • Life direction & purpose
  • Spiritual growth

Gregory’s strengths lie in his ability to listen and ask insightful questions, as well as his warm and caring approach.

“We all deserve to be well and happy, and we all have what it takes to get there. I’m here to assist you on that path.”

Gregory works with adults, couples, families, adolescents, and children, and is available online Wednesday to Saturday of each week via Zoom.
